One of our most favorite questions that we receive here at the Accidental Purist is whether or not we buy anything boxed, shipped, or prepackaged--or if we really are that puritanical. This is a fantastic question, and the short answer is this: we are 95/5, meaning that we are 95% homemade from the ground and earth, and 5% store-bought. And, by "store-bought," we mean that we are scrupulous in our ingredient reading before purchasing.
In the next few weeks, we will continue to post products that we buy straight from the store, but for today, we wanted to share one of these excellent items, which are the Go Raw snacks line.
These adorable little zesty-colored snack bags contain a wealthy of clean nutrients, no preservatives or hidden ingredients. Just pure raw bliss with sprouted seeds--essential for digestion of nutrients and vitamins.
They can be purchased at Whole Foods or Amazon, and are really convenient for anyone on-the-go, especially for anyone with small children. Our daughter (who will be 4 in July) favors the sprouted flax, the lemon pie "cookie," and the carrot cake "cookie." I have to tell you, there is a delicious kind of cleverness in giving a preschooler a "cookie" when said cookie contains organic carrot, organic lemon oil, organic dates, and organic coconut. Score for parent, score for kid.
Try 'em out! They have so many varieties. Would love to hear your favorites.
