On Easter morning, the last thing on a kid's mind is VEGGIES. Amid all the fun tasty treats and snacks and tempting delicious things, vegetables can all too easily take a back seat.
One quick and fun way of "selling the vegetables" on such a high treat day, is to change the shape and presentation of standard vegetables and add a bit of cleverness.
Our three-year-old really enjoyed this "carrot made of carrots!"--and even sharing it with friends. "Look! It's a carrot made of carrots. Seeee?"
This is the simplest arrangement that anyone can do: three sprigs of broccoli for the top, and circle slices of carrot arranged in a downward-pointed triangle.
Quick. Easy. Fun. And a "meta carrot" all in one.
Happy Easter, happy spring.
